Sterling K. Brown's Will Traeger stands in the teal glow of the alien ship in The Predator (2018), right hand wrapped around his left wrist, studying whatever is strapped there while Rory, the boy in the yellow raincoat, looks on. Traeger is the film's government man: director of Project Stargazer, the agency that studies the Predators, and the one who theorizes the aliens are collecting human DNA before climate change closes the window.

The Seiko attribution is a probability, not a confirmed identification. The only source ever to name Traeger's watch, the YouTube survey "Every Predator Watch, from Waltham to Seiko," says he is "most probably" wearing a Seiko Spork diver, and identifies it by features: "a big robust dive watch with a distinctive bottle cap bezel, crown at 4:00, and broad sword hands." Its notes give the reference as the SRP043K2. No watch publication, brand, or prop record has ever weighed in. The ship scene does not resolve it either: Traeger keeps his hand over the thing on his wrist, and all the camera catches is a glint of the set's teal light.

The watch behind the nickname is Seiko's SRP043 diver, a 43.5 millimeter automatic on the 4R15 movement with an offset crown and a rubber dive strap, called the Spork by collectors. Whether it is the watch on Traeger's wrist has never been verified. The film is definite only about Traeger: in the end he tries to fire a captured Predator weapon at the alien and kills himself instead.
