The bus that hauls Quinn McKenna and the film's other military captives in The Predator (2018) seats Coyle in an olive field jacket that does his biography for him: an American flag on the chest, GULF WAR VETERAN above a bar of service ribbons, U.S. MARINES below it, his name stenciled over the pocket. Keegan-Michael Key plays him, a Marine veteran who ends up fighting the Predators alongside Quinn and Nebraska Williams.
The watch is a bet, not an identification. The only source that has ever named Coyle's wrist, the YouTube survey "Every Predator Watch, from Waltham to Seiko," frames its own call as a hunch: "I put my money on him wearing" a gold vintage 1960s or '70s automatic Omega Seamaster, "a touch of classic luxury that stands out among the more tactical watches." No watch publication has covered it and Omega has never claimed the placement. The bus scene keeps the camera on Coyle's jacket and face, and his hands never enter the frame.
The narrator's reasoning is character logic: classic luxury against everyone else's tactical gear, "possibly hinting," as he puts it, "a different background for his character." That is the narrator's speculation, nothing more. No other source has ever tried to identify Coyle's watch.
