Nick Offerman wears an unidentified watch

Alex Garland's Civil War (2024) is set in a near-future America that has come apart, and its president is a man the audience barely sees. Nick Offerman plays him: a third-term leader who has abolished the FBI and turned the military on his own citizens, glimpsed mostly through televised addresses until the journalists at the heart of the film reach the White House for the siege that ends his rule.

His watch was logged here as a two-tone quartz from a brand called Kish. Kish is real, but it is the kind of inexpensive fashion watch sold by the lot on eBay and Poshmark, with no connection to the film, its costume department, or the A24 prop auction that later sold off the production's wardrobe. No still shows the President's wrist clearly enough to read anything, and that auction listed no watch for him at all. The attribution does not hold, so the watch is left unidentified.
