Michelle Rodriguez wears a Casio G-Shock

Michelle Rodriguez plays Rain Ocampo in Paul W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil (2002), the most aggressive member of the Umbrella commando team sent into the Hive, first to be bitten and last to stop firing as the T-virus takes hold of her through the back half of the film. The film gives Rain's watch a clean macro close-up: a black Casio G-Shock whose bezel reads ELECTRO LUMINESCENT BACK LIGHT, SHOCK RESIST and ILLUMINATOR, its display modified for the film so it shows COUNT above a running timer rather than a normal Casio readout. The squad wears the same modified prop, built on a DW-8400 base according to collectors who have studied it.
