Colin Salmon wears a Casio G-Shock

Colin Salmon plays James 'One' Shade, the captain of the Umbrella commando team in Paul W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil (2002). One leads the unit down into the Hive, the company's underground bioweapons complex, to find out why the Red Queen AI sealed the doors and killed everyone inside. He does not get far. The Red Queen's laser-grid corridor cuts him down, the scene the film is best remembered for. The film gives his watch its own lit close-up: a black wide-bezel Casio G-Shock with the green electroluminescent backlight glowing, the same modified prop the whole squad wears, built on a DW-8400 base according to collectors who have studied it.
