James Purefoy wears an unidentified watch

Spence Parks is the film's hidden villain, and James Purefoy plays him as a man pretending to be confused. He wakes up in a bathtub with apparent amnesia alongside Milla Jovovich's Alice, and the two are swept into the Hive by the commando team. But Spence was never an innocent bystander. He stole the T-virus and deliberately released it, triggering the outbreak that killed everyone in the facility. His memory returns partway through the film, and he makes a grab for the anti-virus before a Licker tears him apart.

The watch on Purefoy's right wrist is visible in several scenes but has not been identified. It appears to be a silver analog piece with a metal bracelet, consistent with the kind of nondescript prop a costume department would assign to a character who needs to blend in. Spence is supposed to look like a normal person caught up in something terrible. The watch shouldn't draw attention, and it doesn't. Whatever it is, it dies with him in the Hive.
