When Panerai announced its part in Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre, it named two watches, a Submersible Goldtech and a Submersible Carbotech, both supplied to Guy Ritchie's production. In the finished film, Jason Statham's MI6 agent Orson Fortune wears a third Panerai the brand never mentioned, a green-dialed Radiomir. Statham has worn Panerai for twenty years and owns several, and this one has the look of a piece he brought from home.

The Radiomir is the oldest shape Panerai makes. The company first built the cushion case in the 1930s for Italian Navy frogmen, using cases bought from Rolex, and painted the numerals with a radium compound called Radiomir so they would glow in dark water. The name is the glow. Statham's is a modern one, reference PAM00995: 45mm of steel, a military green dial, gold hands, an in-house P.4000 movement good for three days. The film gives it a spy-gadget moment: in a close-up of the caseback, Fortune draws out what looks like a small earpiece.
