Ed Helms plays the role in Rawson Marshall Thurber's We're the Millers (2013) as a cheerful sociopath in expensive casual wear — the vest, the scarf, the studied messiness of it all. Brad forces Jason Sudeikis's small-time pot dealer into a smuggling run across the Mexican border, and he does it with the friendliness of a man who genuinely does not understand why other people find him threatening.

His watch appears gold-toned on a metal bracelet, visible but not identifiable. It fits Brad's character. He is a man who buys nice things because he can, not because he has taste. The costume department put thought into Brad's look: everything about him says money that arrived recently and has no idea how to behave.
