In a Madagascar slum, a cobra and a mongoose are fighting to the death in an empty swimming pool. The arena is crowded; men are shouting bets. James Bond, almost unrecognizable, is part of the crowd, watching a young man with a white burn scar on his right arm. The man with the scar is a bomb-maker named Mollaka. The watch on Bond's wrist is an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Big Size, reference 2900.50.91.

The film is Martin Campbell's Casino Royale (2006). Daniel Craig plays Bond. This is his first Bond film, and the chase that follows - across rooftops, up cranes, through a construction site, into an embassy - is the parkour sequence that introduced him to audiences.

The Big Size Planet Ocean is the 45.5mm version of Omega's professional dive line. Stainless steel case, black dial, black ceramic dive bezel, black rubber strap. The movement is the Omega caliber 2500 Co-Axial, automatic, 48-hour power reserve. The watch is rated to 600 meters of water resistance. Omega launched the line in 2005, the year before Casino Royale came out, and kept it in production until 2011.
