Cliff Curtis wears an unidentified watch

Cliff Curtis plays Mac Mackreides, who runs the Mana One research station in Jon Turteltaub's 2018 creature feature The Meg. The watch on his wrist is hard to pin down. In the group scenes aboard the station it reads as a blacked-out analog, a dark case and dial with a small seconds counter at six, on a black strap, but the brand never becomes legible and no watch publication has put a name to it. The Carl F. Bucherer that draws the eye in The Meg is not his. It is the gold-bezeled Patravi ScubaTec on the wrist of Li Bingbing, a Carl F. Bucherer ambassador since 2016, who wears it in every scene.
