Will Sharp is a Marine who came home from Afghanistan to a wife facing surgery he cannot afford and a VA that will not return his calls. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II plays him in Michael Bay's Ambulance, a man who lets his adoptive brother Danny, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, talk him into a bank robbery because he has run out of legal ways to find the money. The heist falls apart, the brothers hijack an ambulance with a paramedic and a dying cop inside, and Bay turns the rest of the film into one screaming car chase across Los Angeles.
