Eggsy is a council-estate kid who keeps falling upward into a world he was never bred for. Taron Egerton plays Gary 'Eggsy' Unwin in Matthew Vaughn's Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015), a rough recruit pulled off the street into a secret intelligence service that carries itself like a Savile Row tailor.
The watch came with the job. Bremont, the British watchmaker, built a small collection specifically for the film and split it by rank. The graduated field agents wear a rose-gold world timer based on the brand's ALT1-WT; the trainees get a blacked-out tool watch. Eggsy's is the trainee piece, the Kingsman Special Edition DLC: a 43mm chronograph in DLC-coated stainless steel, with a date, a 24-hour GMT hand, and COSC chronometer certification, worn on a one-piece NATO-style strap. The base is Bremont's existing ALT1-B, finished in stealth black for the recruits.
Hodinkee documented the collection when Bremont launched it alongside the film, laying out all three pieces and how they map back to the company's catalog.
