Merlin runs the Kingsman operation from behind the glass. Mark Strong plays him in Matthew Vaughn's Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015) as the service's quartermaster and trainer, the man who drills the recruits and talks the agents through the field.

His watch sits between the ranks he works with. Bremont built three versions of its Kingsman watch for the film and assigned them by role: a rose-gold world timer for the graduated agents and a blacked-out DLC chronograph for the raw recruits. Merlin wears the stainless steel version, the Kingsman Special Edition in plain brushed steel rather than gold or black coating, on a leather strap. On screen it reads as a light-cased chronograph at his wrist while he works the controls.

Hodinkee documented the collection when Bremont launched it alongside the film, tracing the watches back to the company's existing ALT1 line.
