Stuart Martin wears an unidentified watch

Army of Thieves treats Brad Cage as a joke about action heroes. Stuart Martin plays him as the crew's muscle, a vain, ripped tough guy who is sure he is the star of the movie, and he and the director Matthias Schweighofer agreed to push the swagger right up to the edge of parody. To build the part, Martin spent the lockdown before filming rewatching classic action movies. Cage is also the closest thing the crew has to a traitor: he is involved with the leader, Gwendoline, and he eventually hands the safecracker Dieter to the police.

A man like that wears a tough-guy watch. In the scene where the crew slumps together on a flowered couch, there is a chunky watch on Cage's wrist: a round dark dial, a metal bracelet, the heavy look of a dive watch. The brand never resolves on screen, and no one has identified it, which fits a character assembled entirely from action-movie parts.
