Luna is the bouncer. Barney's recruiting tour, run through the recruiter Bonaparte, turns her up working the door of a nightclub, and she joins the young team alongside Smilee, Thorn, and Mars. The four of them are captured by Stonebanks before the veterans come back for the rescue, and at the end Barney officially accepts the new hires into the team. Casting her was barely a stretch. Ronda Rousey came to the part as the UFC's first women's bantamweight champion and the first American woman to win an Olympic medal in judo, a bronze in 2008, and she would go on to set the UFC record for title defenses by a woman before the UFC put her in its Hall of Fame.
The watch on her wrist in the film's promotional material is the Snyper One Grey PVD, and it is the strangest watch in the cast. Snyper is a small Swiss brand, launched around 2010, that builds oversized chronographs styled after sniper rifle hardware, and the One was drawn by Jean Francois Ruchonnet, the designer behind the TAG Heuer Monaco V4. Its signature is a hard point on the side of the case that accepts clip-on modules: the brand offered an LED flashlight with a laser pointer, and a cigar cutter with a lighter. One caution belongs on the record. The identification comes from a single contemporaneous census whose author had not yet seen the film and wrote that he was only going by posters and screenshots, and the production still on this page shows a watch of the right bulk and grey finish in profile without a readable brand. That is enough to call the Snyper likely, and not enough to call it confirmed.
