Fast & Furious 6 (2013) gives Brian O'Conner two lives, and the production stills catch both. In one he sits on a picnic blanket handing his infant son Jack a blue toy car. In the other he stands braced beside Mia inside a cargo plane in the finale, a steel watch riding his left wrist. Between those two frames sits the whole film: the pardons-for-service deal that pulls the crew to London after Owen Shaw's team, with Letty back from the dead and remembering none of them.
The watch is the best documented in the franchise. It is Jaeger-LeCoultre's Deep Sea Chronograph, reference Q2068570, and the paper trail runs wider than for any other wrist in the series: the fashion press listed Fast & Furious 6 among the films Jaeger-LeCoultre has co-starred in, the watch trade wrote up the placement the summer the film opened, and the spotting communities matched it down to the reference. The same placement list runs from the Reverso in The Thomas Crown Affair to the perpetual calendar in Doctor Strange, which is the screen company Jaeger-LeCoultre keeps. In the plane still the watch shows a round steel case, a dark dial, a dark strap, in agreement with all of it.
