Momona Tamada wears a Timex Military

Maya stands in the alien glow of the secret headquarters beside Charlie Kincaid, both of them staring up at something enormous, and on her raised wrist is a small steel watch. Momona Tamada plays her in Secret Headquarters, a military brat whose parent is in the service. Hodinkee, the only outlet to catalog the film's watches, calls hers a military-style Timex that fits the character, and stops there, with no model or reference attached.

On screen it reads as a basic field watch, a steel case and a plain black dial on a brown leather strap, worn over a knot of black beads. The film is full of wrists, and most of them outrank hers: Owen Wilson's secret-superhero dad wears a vintage Heuer Autavia, the villain an Urwerk, another kid a G-Shock. Maya's plain Timex is the cheapest watch in it.
