Kezii Curtis wears a Casio G-Shock

Big Mac is one of the kids who stumble into a superhero's secret lair in Secret Headquarters (2022), and in the stills on this record he sits on the floor beside Momona Tamada's Maya, dark-suited figures flanking the frame, a red watch on his right wrist. Kezii Curtis plays him. Hodinkee, in its tour of the film's watches, made the identification: a Casio G-Shock GA-900-4A, the oversized analog-digital G-Shock in red resin.

The watch was part of a deliberate spread. Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, the film's watch-collecting directors, worked with horological advisor Carlton DeWoody to give each character a distinct wrist: Joost's own vintage Heuer Autavia on Owen Wilson's hero, a black Urwerk UR-100 on Michael Peña's villain, a Maurice de Mauriac on Jesse Williams, a military-style Timex on Maya, and the red G-Shock on Big Mac. "It's a horological party in this one," Hodinkee wrote, and the GA-900 is the guest who came as a kid.
