Miles Teller wears an Omega Speedmaster

Todd Phillips's War Dogs (2016) tells the true story of two young men who talked their way into the arms trade. Miles Teller plays David Packouz, a Miami massage therapist who reconnects with his childhood friend Efraim Diveroli (Jonah Hill) and ends up in government arms dealing. The real Packouz and Diveroli won a roughly 300-million-dollar Pentagon contract to arm Afghan forces, then were caught repackaging decades-old Chinese ammunition.

Packouz's watch tracks his rising fortunes. He starts the film in a cheap Casio and, as the money lands, upgrades to an Omega Speedmaster, the Professional by most accounts, though the exact reference is hard to read on screen and no watch publication has pinned it down. The Speedmaster Professional is the line Omega took to the Moon, an odd pedigree for a kid selling surplus ammunition out of Miami.
