The Fate of the Furious (2017) sends Tej Parker to the far end of his job description. The team's tech man spends the film running operations against Cipher, the cyberterrorist who has turned Dom against his own crew, and by the Russia finale Tej is driving a Ripsaw tank across a frozen bay. Somewhere in all of that, a watch spotter caught his wrist: a Ritmo Mundo Quantum 2 in the red colorway, an oversized quartz chronograph from the Beverly Hills brand founded in 2002, sold in 50 and 43 millimeter cases and running an off-the-shelf Swiss Ronda movement.
The identification deserves its asterisk. The one watch publication that documents Fate of the Furious wrists places the red Quantum 2 squarely in this film, while the aggregators and the resale market, where the same reference trades on its screen fame, key it to F9 instead. Both can be right, since costume departments reuse what works and Tej keeps wearing the brand, but only one reputable spotting speaks for this film, and no clean frame from it has surfaced to settle the question. The red chronograph is the best-supported reading of Tej's wrist here, held one notch short of certain.
