Charlize Theron wears an unidentified watch

Cipher is the first Fast and Furious villain who never gets behind the wheel. Charlize Theron plays her in The Fate of the Furious (2017) as a cyberterrorist who coerces Dom Toretto into turning against his own crew, running the operation from screens while everyone else does the driving and dying. The production still puts her in front of a wall of racked masks and field gear, blonde dreadlocks pulled over one shoulder, black leather jacket, a thin necklace at her throat, and the frame ends at the torso with both wrists out of view.

No watch has ever been identified on Cipher in this film. The spotting communities catalogued her outfits for it and listed nothing on her wrist, and the press that documented other Fate of the Furious watches covered Deckard Shaw and Tej and passed over her. Off screen the actress has a watch life the character was not given: Theron is a Breitling ambassador, and paparazzi once caught her in a Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea, a deep-sea tool watch on a movie star running errands. Her Cipher would eventually get a documented watch of her own, but not until two films later. In this one the villain works bare-wristed, or close enough that nobody can say otherwise.
