John Costelloe wears a TAG Heuer 2000 Series

Oswald Cochrane is the first of Colonel Stuart's men John McClane kills in Die Hard 2 (1990), beaten and sent into the machinery during the fight down in the airport's baggage-handling area. John Costelloe plays him, one of the rogue mercenaries who seize Dulles on Christmas Eve, and on his wrist is the same TAG Heuer the rest of the crew wears.

The watch is a TAG Heuer 2000, the model Stuart's whole team wears and synchronizes to time the takeover. A henchman's example, the steel reference 273.306/1, a quartz chronograph with a tachymeter bezel, came from property master Mike Papac's collection and later sold through Prop Store.

John Costelloe was a former New York City firefighter turned actor, best remembered as Jim "Johnny Cakes" Witowski on The Sopranos. He died in 2008, at forty-seven.
