Franco Nero wears an unidentified watch

Franco Nero became a star as the title gunfighter in Django (1966) and spent the next decades across spaghetti westerns, poliziotteschi, and gialli, more than two hundred roles in all. Renny Harlin cast him in Die Hard 2 (1990) as General Ramon Esperanza, a deposed Latin American dictator being flown to the United States for trial, the prisoner Colonel Stuart's mercenaries seize Dulles to free.

Esperanza's watch has never been reliably identified. The only claim is a crowdsourced "close match" on Spotern, a user's guess at a gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual that no watch publication has corroborated.
