Dave Bautista wears a Rado D-Star Automatic Chronograph

Mr. Hinx is SPECTRE's enforcer in Sam Mendes' Spectre, a silent slab of a man played by Dave Bautista. He introduces himself at a board meeting by pushing his thumbs through a rival operative's eyes, and later spends a long stretch of the film trying to throw Bond off a moving train. He almost never speaks, and you almost never see his watch. The one good look comes during the eye-gouging, when his cuff rides up: a heavy silver bracelet on Bautista's enormous wrist.

It is a Rado D-Star Automatic Chronograph, reference 604.0198.3.015. The case is oval and about 44mm, made of plasma-treated high-tech ceramic rather than steel, with a black dial, two subdials, a date at six, and a Swiss automatic movement, the caliber 604. Rado built its name on hard ceramic cases that resist the scratches steel would pick up. We know the exact piece because the production auctioned it: Lot 14 at Christie's "James Bond Spectre" sale in 2016, estimated at £4,000 to £6,000, the proceeds going to charity.

Bond wears Omega in these films, by long-standing arrangement. The man trying to kill him wears Rado.
