Bond opens Spectre in Mexico City during the Day of the Dead parade, wearing a black suit, a skull mask, and an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra. He's there to assassinate a man named Marco Sciarra without the rest of MI6 knowing. The Aqua Terra goes through the foot chase, the helicopter fight, and the rest of the cold open before he's even officially on assignment. Daniel Craig plays Bond in Sam Mendes's Spectre (2015), and the Aqua Terra is what Bond wears when he's not in a wetsuit.

The watch is a Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Master Co-Axial, reference 231.10.42.21.03.003. Steel case, steel bracelet, a sun-brushed blue teak-pattern dial, sharply pointed applied indices, an arrow-tipped minute hand, date at 3. The "Master Co-Axial" suffix means the movement is anti-magnetic to 15,000 gauss - more than any wristwatch had been when Omega introduced the caliber.

Why this watch on Bond? It travels. The Aqua Terra wears like a dress watch on a bracelet, which is why Bond spends a third of Spectre in suits at hotel bars and SPECTRE meetings with it visible at the cuff. The 150-meter water resistance is a footnote for the chase on the Thames. The Aqua Terra line has been in Omega's catalogue since 2002, mostly without changing shape.
