Quantum of Solace (2008) picks up minutes after Casino Royale ended. James Bond is driving an Aston Martin DBS through Italy with Mr. White locked in the trunk, being pursued by Quantum agents who want White back. The watch on his wrist is an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Co-Axial, reference 2201.50.00. The film is Marc Forster's. Daniel Craig plays Bond.

The Planet Ocean is Omega's professional dive line. Where the Seamaster Diver 300M is rated to 300 meters, the Planet Ocean doubles it: 600m of water resistance, a helium escape valve at 10 o'clock, a unidirectional dive bezel. The reference Bond wears in Quantum of Solace is the 42mm steel case on a steel bracelet, with a black dial, Arabic numerals at 6, 9, and 12, and a date window at 3. The movement is the Omega caliber 2500, the brand's first Co-Axial chronometer in serial production. Where Bond's previous gadget watches had Geiger counters and EMP triggers and laser cutters, this one is just a watch.
