Kirill runs security for Viggo Tarasov, and Daniel Bernhardt plays him as the one henchman who can fight John Wick to a standstill. Their fight is the Red Circle, the Russian-mob nightclub with a bathhouse in the basement and a glass-walled floor above the dance floor. Wick comes to kill Viggo's son, and Kirill is in the way. They go through pistols, then a knife, then their hands, and Kirill is the one who finally puts Wick over a railing and down onto the crowd below.

The watch on his wrist is a Carl F. Bucherer Patravi ChronoGrade, the brand's most complicated piece. It is a flyback chronograph stacked with an annual calendar, an oversized date, a retrograde counter, and a power-reserve indicator, all crammed onto one busy steel dial, a watch that costs about as much as a car. The whole franchise runs on Carl F. Bucherer placement, a deal tied to director Chad Stahelski becoming a brand ambassador in 2014, and most of the cast wears the plain Manero AutoDate. Keanu Reeves wears one. So does Willem Dafoe.

Kirill gets the ChronoGrade. It is the most complicated and most expensive watch in the movie, and Carl F. Bucherer chose to put it not on the hero or the crime boss but on the bodyguard, the man Viggo keeps around for the work no one else can do.
