Damson Idris wears an IWC Pilot's Watches

Joshua Pearce is the younger half of the fictional APXGP garage, the driver brought in alongside Brad Pitt's returning veteran, and of the three watches IWC built around the team, the only one in solid gold went to him. Pearce wears the Pilot's Watch Performance Chronograph 41, reference IW388309, with an 18-carat 5N gold case, a black lacquered dial, a black ceramic tachymeter bezel, and a sapphire case back. Gold and black are the colors of the APXGP cars themselves, and IWC went well past lending props: the brand signed on as an official sponsor of the made-up team, its logo on the race cars, the drivers' suits, the helmets, and the garage.

The production shot during real Grand Prix weekends across the 2023 and 2024 seasons, starting at Silverstone, so the black-and-gold cars carrying that sponsorship ran on real circuits. When the film arrived, IWC put the Pearce chronograph on sale alongside its two steel APXGP siblings as a real collection.
