Pitt has been a Breitling ambassador since 2019, and for Bullet Train he wears the AVI Ref. 765 1953 Re-Edition in platinum, reference LB0920131C1X1, one of 153 pieces. Its midnight blue dial is the giveaway: the common version of this Re-Edition is steel with a black dial, so the deep blue marks this as the rare platinum limited edition. The watch is a faithful revival of Breitling's 1953 Co-Pilot chronograph, recreated down to the bezel screw positions and dial proportions, and Pitt swapped the factory strap for a custom rugged brown leather one to match Ladybug's bucket hat, Hawaiian shirt, and linen jacket.
David Leitch directed Bullet Train as a confined-space action comedy set almost entirely on a Japanese bullet train. Ladybug is a hitman who has started seeing a therapist and is trying to resolve conflicts peacefully. It does not go well. The watch appears throughout the film, and the Re-Edition's vintage proportions, small pushers, no crown guards, a thin bezel, keep it from reading as flashy on camera. It looks like something Ladybug found in his father's drawer, which is the point.
