Bill Paxton wears an unidentified watch

Bill Paxton's Simon is a magnificent fraud. In a trailer dressed up to look like a spy's safehouse, he tells Jamie Lee Curtis's Helen Tasker that he is a secret agent whose life is in constant danger and that she is his one refuge from a world of espionage. None of it is true. He sells used cars off a strip-mall lot. A watch on a metal bracelet shows on his wrist as he pours her a drink, but the frame never holds it long enough to read a brand, so it stays unidentified. The performance falls apart later, when the real spy turns up to question him and Simon's nerve goes with it.
