James Cameron's True Lies (1994) casts Arnold Schwarzenegger as Harry Tasker, a secret agent who has spent years pretending to be a dull computer salesman, with Jamie Lee Curtis as the wife who has no idea. Bill Paxton plays Simon, a used-car salesman running the opposite con, posing as a spy to seduce her.

On Harry's wrist is a Casio AMW-320, the affordable analog-digital diver with a gold-tone bezel that collectors nicknamed the "Arnie" for its association with Schwarzenegger. It cost around fifty dollars when the film was made, an unglamorous everyman watch on a character whose cover story is supposed to be exactly that ordinary.
