Anne Hathaway wears a Cartier Panthère de Cartier

Daphne Kluger is supposed to be the mark. In Gary Ross's Ocean's Eight (2018), co-written with Olivia Milch, Sandra Bullock's Debbie Ocean assembles a crew to lift a Cartier diamond necklace off the neck of Hathaway's movie star Daphne at the Met Gala. Daphne works out what happened and talks her way in, so the mark ends up the eighth thief.

Cartier was the film's exclusive jewelry partner and dressed Daphne in pieces from the house, and on her wrist is a yellow-gold Cartier Panthère. The square gold case rides on the flat five-row link bracelet that gives the Panthère its jewelry-like drape, and it reads clearly in a scene near the end of the film. Cartier introduced the Panthère in 1983.
