Aidan Gillen wears an unidentified watch

"If I pull that off, will you die?" The opening scene of The Dark Knight Rises became one of the most quoted sequences on the internet, partly because of Tom Hardy's muffled Bane voice and partly because of Aidan Gillen's CIA operative, who interrogates prisoners by threatening to throw them out of a plane. Gillen plays the unnamed agent (credited simply as "CIA Op") with a casual confidence that evaporates the moment Bane reveals himself. Christopher Nolan shot the sequence with real stunt work on an actual aircraft, and it sets the physical scale for the rest of the film.
