Woody Harrelson plays Tommy Bollinger in Friends with Benefits, the gay sports editor at GQ who becomes a confidant to Justin Timberlake's Dylan Harper as Dylan tries to navigate a no-strings-attached relationship with Mila Kunis's Jamie. Will Gluck directed this 2011 romantic comedy, which acknowledges its own clichés while following them anyway. Harrelson's Tommy provides comic relief and surprisingly grounded advice, playing the role as someone completely comfortable in his own skin who finds Dylan's romantic confusion amusing. The film came out the same year as the similar No Strings Attached, and the two spent months being compared to each other.
Harrelson's watch hasn't been identified. His scenes give the movie some of its loosest, funniest moments, but the camera rarely lingers on his wrist.
