Will Ferrell wears a TAG Heuer Link

In Adam McKay's Talladega Nights (2006), Will Ferrell plays Ricky Bobby, the NASCAR driver at the center of the film. The watch is on his left wrist across the racing scenes and the family-table scenes, steel and bracelet-bound.

It is a TAG Heuer Link, identifiable from the bracelet alone. The Link is one of the few modern watches better known by its bracelet than its dial: alternating polished and brushed lozenge-shaped links, curved at the edges so they sit close to the wrist. TAG Heuer introduced the design in 1987 as the S/el, short for Sport Elegance, and renamed it Link in 1999.

Which Link is harder to say. The line has run as three-hand date watches, automatic chronographs, and quartz models across several case generations, and the screen captures do not show the dial clearly enough to choose. What the bracelet gives us is the family.
