Viggo Mortensen wears an unidentified watch

Rick Stanton sits at a kitchen table stacked with dive gear, a clear tub of cables and a yellow hard case beside the laptop he is reaching for, and on his wrist is a chunky black watch. Viggo Mortensen plays him in Thirteen Lives, Ron Howard's account of the 2018 Tham Luang cave rescue, where Stanton and John Volanthen, played by Colin Farrell, swam miles of flooded passage to reach twelve boys and their coach. The watch is a heavy black tool watch, a round case and domed crystal on a thick black strap.

Citizen partnered with the film, hosting thirteen advance screenings as a tribute to the rescue's divers and first responders. But no source says which watch sits on Mortensen's wrist, and another of the cast's divers, Joel Edgerton's Richard Harris, wears a Casio G-Shock instead. The dial here is lost to glare and the case shows no readable logo, so it stays an unidentified black dive watch.
