A movie director goes psychosomatically blind on the first day of shooting and decides to finish the film without telling anyone. That is the premise of Woody Allen's Hollywood Ending (2002), and Treat Williams plays Hal, the agent who has to help his client pull it off. Hal is not the lead — Allen wrote that part for himself — but Williams gets to play the guy in the room who knows how insane the situation is and helps anyway.
The watch on Williams's wrist is not identifiable from the available footage. Hal is the kind of agent who would wear something presentable but not ostentatious. The job requires convincing people that everything is fine when it obviously is not, and overdoing the accessories would undercut the poker face. George Hamilton plays the studio head, Téa Leoni plays the producer and Allen's ex-wife in the film, and the whole cast maintains a straight-faced farce about perception and self-deception. Hal goes along with it because that is what agents do.
