Gabe Walker spends Cliffhanger (1993) being pulled back up a mountain he wanted to quit. Renny Harlin's film opens with a death Walker cannot undo, then strands him between a rescue and a robbery when a mid-air hijacking scatters suitcases of stolen cash across the Rockies and the thieves force the search. Sylvester Stallone plays him in fleece and climbing harness, and when he crouches by a campfire in the cave, the watch on his left wrist shows a dark strap and a dial swallowed whole by the firelight.
The paper trail on that watch is one sentence long. Jean-Philippe Tarot's one-day-one-watch column at Montres-de-luxe recorded it in 2012: in Cliffhanger, Sylvester Stallone wears a Hamilton Khaki. The fan index Watches in Movies carries the same identification and credits it to Hamilton itself. No publication has ever printed a different brand, a specific model, or a reference, so the Khaki stands at brand and family level and nothing finer.
Hamilton had a second watch in the film, and that one got the better showcase. John Lithgow's Eric Qualen times the hunt for his stolen money on a Hamilton quartz chronograph, and the camera gives it a full-frame insert, engraved tachymeter bezel and all. Stallone's Khaki never earns a close-up. Three decades on, that asymmetry is the record: the villain's Hamilton has a reference number attached to it, and the hero's still does not.

Discussion
Earlier in the movie while driving it looks more like a 7750 movement, with sub dials at 6,9,12 would be curious if maybe it’s two different ones. To me that one looks like a 740.306 but the images you have here look different.
Steve, You're right. It's two different watches. The 2nd image should be attributed to Eric Qualen (John Lithgow). It's the Hamilton Quartz Chronograph (Ref. 8808). I'll see if I can find more evidence on the 740.306.
