When Jake Sully arrives at the Avatar program's lab on Pandora, the lead scientist Grace Augustine looks at the wheelchair-bound ex-Marine and says she would have preferred his brother. As Sully pulls back his unshaken hand, a big resin Casio sits on his wrist against the chair. Sam Worthington wears it through his human scenes in Avatar: the Casio ProTrek PAW-1300G-1V, Casio's rugged step below the G-Shock, with a resin case and strap, solar power, 100 meters of water resistance, and the ProTrek sensor suite of altimeter, barometer, compass, and thermometer.

James Cameron set the film in the mid-22nd century, roughly 130 years out, which makes a 2007 Casio on the lead's wrist a small anachronism: a present-day hiking watch in a world of interstellar travel and mind-linked alien bodies. It surfaces again in a tactical briefing, the ProTrek's readout catching light behind a hologram map of Pandora.

Sully never wears it as a Na'vi. The avatar link carries only his mind into the engineered body, so the watch, like the rest of his human gear, stays behind on the human side of the connection.
