Sam Neill wears a Bremont MBII

Colin Trevorrow directed Dominion as the film that brought the original Jurassic Park cast back alongside the Jurassic World generation, and Sam Neill returns as Dr. Alan Grant twenty-one years after Jurassic Park III. The Bremont MBII on his wrist is a significant upgrade from the Oris Big Crown BC3 he wore in that earlier film. Bremont developed the MB line with Martin-Baker, the ejection-seat manufacturer behind the seats fitted in most NATO fighter jets. The MB1 is famously restricted to pilots who have actually ejected using Martin-Baker seats. The MBII is the publicly available version of the same case, designed to the same shock and altitude specifications without the ejection-club membership requirement.

Grant's specific configuration is custom-ordered through Bremont's bespoke service: stainless steel case, stark white dial, titanium middle barrel, brown leather strap. The combination strips away the colored barrel options that ship on stock MBIIs and pulls the watch toward a pared-back, vintage field-watch register. Grant is a paleontologist, not a pilot, but the watch's rugged credentials and legible white dial suit a man who has spent his career in hostile fieldwork.

Neill has three sightings across three decades: a Citizen Solar in Dead Calm, the Oris in Jurassic Park III, and this Bremont. The progression from affordable Japanese quartz through mid-range Swiss automatic to British aviation watch tracks both the franchise's rising budgets and Grant's rising profile within the story.
