Pierre Mondy wears a Rolex Air-King

Grégoire Dufour is a bank employee whose colleagues give him a call girl as a retirement present, and the gift comes with a trip to Venice. In Michel Lang's Le Cadeau (1982), released in English as Bankers Also Have Souls, Pierre Mondy plays Grégoire opposite Clio Goldsmith as the young woman, Joyane, and Claudia Cardinale as his wife. It is a light French comedy that did big business at home, drawing more than a million admissions.

Mondy is said to wear a Rolex Air-King, the plainest model in the line: a 34mm Oyster case with a time-only dial, no date and no complications.
