Most of the watches in a Bond film are chosen by a costume department working off a sponsorship deal. Eve Moneypenny's may be the exception. Naomie Harris is an Omega ambassador, and she has said she helped decide what her character wore: "It was incredibly important to me that the watches she wore, in Skyfall's case a Seamaster Aqua Terra, fit with her story." What she landed on is one of the plainest watches Omega makes, a steel Seamaster Aqua Terra on a steel bracelet, grey dial, date at three.
In Skyfall she spends most of the film in the field. It opens with Eve chasing a stolen hard drive through Istanbul, then taking a shot on M's order that hits Bond instead and sends him off a train into a river. The Aqua Terra is on her wrist through that sequence, scoped rifle in hand. The exact reference took a while to settle. Omega's own catalogue listing was corrected after the fact: the watch is the automatic 231.10.30.20.06.001, not the near-identical quartz version reported first.
The Aqua Terra is the entry point to the Seamaster line, the one without a dive bezel or a chronograph, and it sits at the same brand as Bond's own watches without trying to match them. By the end of the film Eve has stepped out of the field and taken the desk job, revealed in the last scene as Miss Moneypenny. She kept Omega into the part: in No Time to Die she wears a small De Ville Prestige on a green strap, in place of the steel Aqua Terra she carried through Istanbul.
