Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen (2020) is full of well-dressed criminals, and Matthew McConaughey's Mickey Pearson is the best-dressed of them: an American who built a marijuana empire beneath the estates of cash-poor English aristocrats and now wants to sell the whole operation and walk away clean. He wears a gold-toned watch on a leather strap throughout, tucked under the cuffs of his three-piece suits. What it actually is, nobody can quite agree on.
Watch-spotting sites label it an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra in two-tone gold and steel. A thread on Reddit calls it a Lorus, a fifty-pound quartz. And when Oracle Time went through the film's watches, it identified Charlie Hunnam's gold Rolex Day-Date, Colin Farrell's Datejust, and Hugh Grant's one-off Pinion, then left Mickey's wrist unnamed. The still here shows enough to tell that the watch is gold and round, and not enough to read a name off the dial. The Aqua Terra label is the most repeated guess, but it stays a guess: no reliable source has pinned down what the boss is wearing.
