Kim Coates wears a Cartier Pasha de Cartier

In Florent-Emilio Siri's Hostage (2005), one of the masked men sent to run the standoff, the character billed as the Watchman and played by Kim Coates, presses a set of keys into hostage negotiator Jeff Talley's hand and turns his own wrist toward the camera. The watch fills the frame: a round, cream-dialed Cartier Pasha, the brand name printed plainly below twelve and the Pasha's signature screw-down crown cap resting on its short chain at three o'clock.

The Pasha is Cartier's round luxury sport watch, and that capped crown is the detail that makes it unmistakable. The Clock Wiki, which logs the film by the times its watches and clocks show, reads this one at 7:22 in the evening and names it a Pasha Dual Time Power Reserve GMT.
