Keanu Reeves wears a Carl F. Bucherer Manero AutoDate

John Wick has worn the same watch since 2014. Across all of Chad Stahelski's films, Keanu Reeves's assassin keeps a Carl F. Bucherer Manero AutoDate on his wrist, a plain 38mm steel dress watch with a silver dial and a date at three, run by the brand's automatic CFB 1965 caliber. Carl F. Bucherer built it to look like a watch from the 1960s, the decade that also gave Wick his Ford Mustang. He wears it on the inside of his wrist, dial toward the palm, the way soldiers and operators do.

By Chapter 3 the watch had a bigger part to play. Late in the film Wick fights under a glass cupola on the roof of the Continental, and for more than ten minutes Carl F. Bucherer's own product films run on the glass walls behind the fight. Watch writers singled it out as a rare piece of product placement that does not interrupt the movie around it.
