John Philbin wears a Breitling Navitimer

Nathanial is one of the surfers in Bodhi's inner circle in Kathryn Bigelow's Point Break (1991), living by the same creed of chasing waves, robbing banks in ex-president masks, and never apologizing for it. John Philbin plays him. The film works because Bigelow shoots the surfing and the bank jobs with the same visceral energy, and Keanu Reeves' undercover FBI agent Johnny Utah is drawn in because the lifestyle is genuinely seductive.

A close-up shows the Breitling on Nathanial's wrist, the brand legible across a black dial. It is the quartz, ana-digi version of the Navitimer, with a small digital window, a sixty-minute countdown bezel, and water resistance for diving rather than a slide rule for the cockpit. It is the same Breitling that Bodhi wears in the film.
