Joel McHale plays Wilbur Wilson in Spy Kids: All the Time in the World, a guy who hosts a reality show about hunting spies while his own wife is an actual secret agent. Robert Rodriguez directed this 2011 sequel, the fourth Spy Kids film but the first without the Cortez family. McHale's Wilbur is the joke, basically: he broadcasts conspiracy theories to the nation while completely missing the spy activity happening in his own house. Jessica Alba plays his wife Marissa, a retired agent pulled back in when a villain called the Timekeeper shows up. The film follows Wilbur's stepchildren, played by Rowan Blanchard and Mason Cook, who find out about their stepmom and get recruited to save the world. Rodriguez shot it in 3D and handed out scratch-and-sniff cards in theaters, going full gimmick. McHale plays it broad, and his total disconnection from reality gets laughs. His watch has not been identified.
