Bullet to the Head is Walter Hill back in the lean, violent register he had not worked in for years, a New Orleans revenge picture that pairs Sylvester Stallone's hitman with Sung Kang's detective. Jason Momoa, still years from Aquaman and leading-man status, plays Keegan, the mercenary hired to clean up the bodies and, in the end, the man Stallone has to get through. He is the bigger, younger threat, and the film closes with the two of them fighting it out with axes.

The watch on Keegan's wrist is a Panerai Luminor, and you can prove it from a single frame. In the scene where he holds a phone to a hostage, the case turns far enough to show the crown-protecting bridge, the hinged half-moon lever that clamps over the winding crown and gives every Luminor its profile. This one is blacked out, case and dial both, a dark slab on a man built like a door. Panerai made its name supplying oversized dive instruments to Italian Navy frogmen, and the Luminor still carries that bulk.

A watch spotter has filed the exact reference as a Pre-Vendome Luminor Marina 5218-203/A, one of the rare steel pieces Panerai made before the Vendome group bought the company in 1997. That attribution does not survive a look at the screen, because the Pre-Vendome Luminors were brushed steel and Keegan's watch is blacked out. The brand and the model are not in doubt, but the black case is exactly what rules the six-figure vintage reference out.
