Jamie Foxx wears an IWC Pilot's Watches

Todd Phillips made Due Date (2010) between the two Hangover films, and it is a leaner thing than either. Robert Downey Jr.'s Peter Highman is trying to get across the country in time for the birth of his first child. Zach Galifianakis's Ethan Tremblay is the aspiring actor who keeps wrecking the trip. Jamie Foxx plays Darryl, Peter's old friend, who puts the two of them up for a night and lends out his car. In the still here he is on the couch with a coffee mug while Peter, his arm in a sling, does the talking.

A French watch magazine, Montres-de-luxe, identified the watch on Foxx's wrist as an IWC Big Pilot. It is one of the largest watches IWC makes, a roughly 46mm case descended from the oversized observation watches the company built for German navigators in the 1940s, with a big conical crown made to be turned while wearing flight gloves. In the frame here the watch is real but unhelpful. It has rolled to the side of his wrist with the dial turned away, so the still confirms he is wearing something large on a bracelet without settling the model on its own. The magazine is the source for the name.
