James Coburn wears an Omega Speedmaster

Anthony Perkins and Stephen Sondheim wrote The Last of Sheila together, two famous puzzle obsessives turning their parlor games into a screenplay. A film producer invites six Hollywood acquaintances onto his yacht for a week-long game, one year after his wife Sheila died in a hit-and-run. Herbert Ross directed; the guests include James Mason, Ian McShane, Raquel Welch, Dyan Cannon, and Richard Benjamin, and every one of them has something to hide.

Coburn wears a stainless steel Omega Speedmaster Professional Mark II, reference 145.014. Omega launched the Mark II in 1969 as the first real redesign of the Speedmaster: a barrel-shaped 41mm case in place of the round Moonwatch, with the tachymeter moved to the underside of the crystal. Inside ran the caliber 861, the hand-wound movement Omega used in the Moonwatch of that era. The Mark II stayed in production for just three years, ending in 1972.
